Love Astrology
What astrology can offer a relationship question — and what it can't.
What love astrology looks at
Love astrology uses the positions of the Moon, Venus, Mars, and other planets at the time of birth to describe tendencies — how someone tends to express affection, handle conflict, or approach commitment. When comparing two people, it looks at how those tendencies interact: where they reinforce each other, and where they might create friction that's worth being aware of.
On this site specifically, that takes two forms: the Love Compatibility Tool, which uses actual birth details for both people, and the Zodiac Relationship Guide, which uses only sun signs for a lighter, more general comparison.
Two different traditions, not mixed together
The Compatibility Tool's results come from two distinct calculations, shown separately rather than blended into one number: a relationship-scoring layer (emotional connection, communication, attraction, long-term potential) and the traditional North Indian Ashtakoot koota system, both computed with the Swiss Ephemeris and the Lahiri Ayanamsa. We won't describe either of these as a different method (like Vakya or Parahita astrology) that isn't actually what's being calculated.
What this is genuinely useful for
- A starting point for reflection — noticing a pattern you hadn't named yet.
- A shared, low-stakes way for two people to talk about how they communicate and handle disagreement.
- Context alongside a private consultation, where Navin can go into more depth than an automated tool can.
What this is not
- A guarantee that a relationship will or won't work. See our Disclaimer.
- A way to predict or control what another person will feel or decide.
- A substitute for medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, or for professional help if you're dealing with abuse, threats, or immediate danger — see the safety guidance on our Relationship Clarity Questionnaire and Disclaimer.
